On June 1, 2026, Ronen Krausz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Azerbaijan, along with Deputy Chief of Mission Aviv Zell and a representative of the embassy, visited Khazar University.

A meeting was held with the guests in the presence of University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva and Dr. Firuz Suleymanov, Head of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on opportunities for cooperation between Khazar University and Israeli higher education institutions, the development of academic and scientific ties, prospects for student and staff exchange, as well as future directions for partnership. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest and discussed opportunities for joint activities.
