On May 25, 2026, the student festival "KhazarFest 2026" was held at the Neftchiler campus, organized by the Student Council on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Khazar University.
The main objectives of the festival were to bring students together, strengthen unity and school spirit within the university, support student creativity and innovative initiatives, and showcase the university's international and multicultural environment.
At the opening ceremony, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, delivered a speech in which he shared his thoughts on the university's path of development, the significance of student life, and the role of youth in the progress of society.
In her address, University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva highly praised the students' initiative, creativity, and organizational skills, and expressed her gratitude to the organizing team and volunteers whose efforts made the festival possible.
Lala Imanzade, President of the Khazar University Student Council and one of the festival's organizers, noted that the festival was shaped on the basis of student initiative and that projects of this kind provide a broader platform for students to demonstrate their creative and organizational potential.
As part of the festival, dedicated booths were set up by various student clubs of the university. The clubs presented their activities, engaged in interactive communication with students, and carried out a variety of activities. Among the featured booths were the Quantum Intellectual Games Club, the Khazar History Club, the ADAC Design Club, the HasVet Veterinary Club, the Chinese Study Chinese Language Club, and the Robotics Club.
A food zone, photo and memory corners, interactive activity areas, and various entertainment spaces were also created throughout the festival grounds.
During the musical segment of the festival, Gulyaz Hasanzade, a young mugham singer and student at the Azerbaijan University of Culture and Arts, performed Azerbaijani songs. Members of Khazar University's Music Club also took the stage with various musical performances.
"KhazarFest 2026" became a memorable campus festival for students in social, cultural, and creative dimensions alike.
