On May 25, 2026, Khazar University hosted the next seminar conducted by Finnish partners. The seminar was dedicated to the topic "Collaboration Within and Beyond Academia – Culture of Trust, Intellectual Property Rights and Openness of Results" and covered issues related to the culture of trust, intellectual property rights, and openness of research results in the context of university–industry collaboration.
The seminar, moderated by Aytac Misgarli, Director of the Library and Information Centre of Khazar University, was presented by representatives of the University of Jyväskylä, Kati Clements and Saana Mehtälä.
During the presentation, discussions were held on the missions of institutions, legal frameworks, practical forms of collaboration between universities and industry, as well as the planning of future activities within the DIRNA seminar series. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of trust in collaboration processes, the influence of individual and institutional factors, and the significance of open results policies in knowledge exchange.
