Within the framework of the promotional activities carried out by Khazar University in the regions, an event was organized in Balakan district on May 25, 2026, by the School of Economics and Management.

The main objectives of the event were to raise awareness of Khazar University, strengthen communication with prospective students, and promote the university's 35th anniversary.

The opening of the event featured an address by Nurlan Orujov, Director of the Center for Innovations in Teaching. A comprehensive presentation about the university was delivered by Polad Orujov, Coordinator of the Department of Economics and Management, followed by a speech from Shafiga Chiragi, a second-year student from Balakan district. The event concluded with the screening of a film dedicated to the university's 35th anniversary.
