On May 15, 2026, Prof. Dr. Ali B. Kutvan, Vice-Rector of Türkiye's Istanbul Esenyurt University and Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Innovation Management and TRIZ, visited Khazar University, in an event organized by the International Relations Office.

The meeting was attended by Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva and International Relations Office Director Dr. Firuz Suleymanov.

During the visit, representatives of Istanbul Esenyurt University delivered a detailed presentation on their institution. It was noted that the university enrolls nearly 15,000 students, a significant portion of whom are international students. Attention was also drawn to the university's international cooperation ties with more than 90 countries, its six active faculties, and the existence of an online project management platform.

The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation between the two universities. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Khazar University and Istanbul Esenyurt University within the framework of the meeting. The Memorandum covers such areas as the exchange of academic and administrative staff as well as students, the organization of summer schools, the development of joint projects, and the holding of academic conferences and seminars.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a commemorative gift was presented to the guest on behalf of Khazar University.
