On May 14, 2026, Pro-Rector Prof. Selcuk Ural and Prof. Ilkin Gulusoy, Head of the Department of Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures (Azerbaijani Turkic and Literature) of Türkiye's Caucasus University, paid a visit to Khazar University.

The guests met with the Founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli. Assoc. Prof. Dilbar Zeynalova, Head of the Department of Languages and Literatures, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, which took place in a warm and businesslike atmosphere, discussions were held on expanding existing ties between the two higher education institutions, developing opportunities for scientific and academic cooperation, as well as future prospects. The parties emphasized that cooperation and joint projects are of significant importance for both universities.
