A concert programme was organised on May 7, 2026, at the Fikret Amirov Conference and Concert Centre, located on Khazar University's Bashir Safaroglu campus, for the delegates of the 4th International Conference of the Turkish Engineers' Association held in Baku. Khazar University's Director of Public Relations and Media, Alovsat Amirbali, welcomed the guests and provided information about the university on behalf of Khazar University's founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, and the university's rector, Dr. Razia Isaeva. The President of the Turkish Engineers' Association, Yaşar Yekebağcı, expressed his gratitude to Khazar University's leadership for the concert programme. Y. Yekebağcı extended his deep appreciation to Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, Dr. Razia Isaeva, and the entire Khazar University community for all the support and hospitality shown to delegates from Türkiye and other Turkic republics throughout the conference days.
Lavant Ali Yıldız, Deputy Chairman for Foreign Relations of Türkiye's Justice and Development Party, expressed his gratitude to Khazar University's leadership for the hospitality, extensive support, and outstanding organisation extended to them at the university.
The concert programme featured performances by the Chamber Orchestra, led by Zülfiyyə Sadıqova, Honoured Teacher and Head of the Music and Fine Arts Department at Khazar University, including "Arazbari" from Uzeyir Hajibeyli's opera "Leyli and Majnun," "Arşın Mal Alan," and Hasan Rzayev's "Chahargah Rhapsody." A rendition of U. Hajibeyli's "Churning Was the Black Sea" by Mahsati Jabbarova was met with warm applause.
Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, and Kazakh dances, staged by instructor Sabina Ismayilova and performed by students, generated great interest.
The Turkish guests departed from the concert programme held at the Fikret Amirov Conference and Concert Centre with fond impressions.
