The article "Towards Constant Innovation and Excellence" by Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, was published in the journal "Khazar News" (February, 2026, No. 458, pp. 20-23). The journal, which began its activities as a university newspaper in 1995, is currently published in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages and has been printed monthly in an 80-page color format since 2010.

The article explains the establishment, development path and role of Khazar University in the Azerbaijani higher education system. It is emphasized that the university was established in 1991 on the basis of a modern educational model, distinguished by the principles of English-language education, academic freedom and flexible management.

The author notes that these approaches have had a positive impact on the development of the university and states that this environment increases initiative, creates opportunities for the implementation of new projects and the expansion of international cooperation.
