Representatives of Khazar University participated in a seminar at SOCAR's Natural Resources Exploration (NRE) Segment on March 5, 2026.

The primary objective of the seminar was to familiarize participants with the NRE Segment's current exploration and prospecting operations, hydrocarbon reserve assessment strategies, and industry requirements in this field. The seminar brought together the leadership and specialists of the NRE Segment, as well as the administrators and students of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), and Khazar University.

The event was opened by SOCAR Vice President Arzu Javadova, who briefed participants on new approaches to the exploration of prospective structures, field assessment, and hydrocarbon reserve management.

Current reforms, completed work, and future strategies were presented to participants by NRE Segment employees Elvin Ahmadov, Elnur Aghatagiyev, Tural Ahmadov, Aytakin Ismayilova, and Sarvan Heydarli. After discussions participants visited SOCAR's Oil Museum.
