On March 3, 2026, a meeting was held at the V.Y. Akhundov Scientific Research Institute of Medical Preventive Medicine with the participation of Dr. Jamala Eldarova, Head of the Life Sciences Department at Khazar, and Dr. Javid Ojaghin, Associate Professor of the department.

Institute Director Prof. Adil Allahverdiyev provided comprehensive information on the institution's primary areas of activity, ongoing research projects, and fundamental and applied research conducted in the field of medicine. The guests familiarized themselves with the institute's material and technical infrastructure. The visit generated considerable interest, particularly regarding the various laboratories and clinical units established for conducting modern scientific research and the library housing an extensive scientific literature collection.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospective areas of cooperation, including the implementation of joint research projects in biomedicine, molecular biology, biotechnology, and other fields of life sciences, the expansion of academic collaboration, the training of young researchers and highly qualified specialists, as well as the exchange of scientific knowledge and technologies. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the signing of a memorandum of mutual cooperation is envisaged with the aim of developing research and academic collaboration between the two scientific institutions on an institutional basis.
