On February 18, 2026, a business meeting was held at Khazar University with Rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva, focused on alumni–industry and business collaboration.
The meeting brought together university staff as well as Laura Hamidova, a Khazar University alumna and Director of FireWorks HRM. Laura Hamidova has over 20 years of professional experience in human resources management. She also teaches the course "Human Resources" at Vilnius University Business School and is currently conducting doctoral-level research on the topic of "Organizational Culture."
During the meeting, participants engaged in detailed discussions on the development of academia–industry and business collaboration, the alignment of academic knowledge with practical skills, the implementation of joint projects, the organization of practice-oriented initiatives, and the more effective integration of students and alumni into the labor market.
Rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva noted that the professional activities of alumni are of strategic importance to the university, emphasizing that strengthening alumni–university–industry collaboration is one of Khazar University's priority directions.
The meeting was aimed at initial acquaintance and the identification of future prospects. The parties expressed their interest in continuing cooperation with a view to implementing mutually beneficial and sustainable joint projects within the framework of academia–industry collaboration.
