Baku, Azerbaijan – On February 16, 2026, the opening ceremony of an intensive education program titled "IT SkillSprint" was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and the international training company "Ironhack."

Khazar University Rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva attended the opening ceremony.

At the event, IRIA Board Chairman Farid Osmanov, State Agency for Science and Higher Education Chairperson Ulkar Sattarova, and Ironhack Director Gonzalo Manrique Sabatel delivered speeches, emphasizing that the program aims to equip young people with modern and internationally competitive skills, and to develop professional human capital in the field of information technology in the country in line with the demands of the digital economy. The program initially covers 123 students.

13 students from Khazar University successfully passed the selection process and earned the right to participate in the program.
