An educational seminar "Say No to Drug Addiction!" was held on February 11, 2026, at Secondary School No. 27 in Baku's Khatai district, organized by DOPWM of Baku Main Police Department.

At the event, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, a staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, spoke about the psychological and social problems that substance addiction creates for society. He emphasized the particular importance of early identification of this problem, noting the necessity of strengthening prevention and expanding awareness activities. The psychologist also stated that family and educational environments play a fundamental role in preventing addiction cases, highlighting that promoting a healthy lifestyle is a crucial factor in the formation and future development of young people.

The event was attended by Ibrahim Ismayilov, head of the Department for Organization of Preventive Work with Minors of the Baku City Main Police Department and police colonel; inspectors of the same department, police major Afag Aliyeva and police senior lieutenant Aysel Hajiyeva; inspector of the Khatai District Police Department's DOPWM, police captain Aygun Ulukhanova; and psychologist of the Baku Narcological Center, Gunay Asgarova.

The event was conducted in an interactive format with active participation from students and teaching staff, extensive discussions were held on the topic, and questions were answered.
