On February 5, 2025, an online seminar titled "Enhancing Search with EBSCO AI Tools on the EBSCOhost Platform" was held at Khazar University, organized by the Library and Information Center.

The seminar was conducted by Iryna Serzhan, a representative of EBSCO. The aim of the event was to present participants with opportunities for more efficient use of academic resources available through the EBSCOhost platform at Khazar University.

During the online seminar, EBSCO's artificial intelligence-based search tools, as well as features that facilitate the academic research process, were demonstrated, and participants' questions were answered.

Within the framework of the event, detailed information was provided on the following topics: access to full texts of journals, books, and dissertations available at Khazar University; proper formulation of search queries to obtain more precise results; use of artificial intelligence tools that enhance the search process; application of Natural Language Search, Generate AI Insights, and More Like This features; limiting and expanding tools used when working with resources; downloading, sending, citing, and exporting publications; constructing searches based on subject headings; the importance of creating a personal account on the platform; setting up subject alerts and notifications regarding new journal issues, and other useful features.

Certificates were presented to all participants of the seminar.

The online seminar was received with great interest by the university's faculty, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates, and made a significant contribution to enhancing knowledge of the EBSCOhost platform.
