On February 6, 2026, Professor Marufjon Yuldashev, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Research and Innovation at Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy, Associate Professor Zubeyda Sharapova, Dean of the School of Languages and Primary Education, and Associate Professor Abdujalilova Shoira from the Department of Pedagogy met with Assoc.Prof. Dilber Zeynalova, Head of the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University, within the framework of an academic visit. The meeting subsequently continued in an expanded format with the participation of department staff in a discussion setting.

During the discussions, an exchange of views was held regarding the establishment of academic relations between the universities, conducting joint research, organizing mutual academic visits of scholars and young researchers, as well as opportunities for inter-university cooperation and exchange. Additionally, prospects for organizing a joint summer school for young researchers, and conducting academic seminars and training programs were also the focus of attention.

In conclusion, the parties emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation in the future, implementing joint academic projects, and continuing collaborative activities in the field of Turkology.
