A joint article titled "A Comparative Systematic Literature Review on the Effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in Reducing Anxiety Symptoms across Different Anxiety Disorders" by Dr. Gulshan Aliyeva, instructor at Khazar University's Psychology Department, and third-year students Sedaqet Majidli, Sedaqet Mammadova, and Gulay Mammadova, dedicated to studying the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in eliminating anxiety disorders, has been published in issue 1(49) of 2026 of the Canadian journal "International Journal of Innovative Technologies in Social Science".
The authors analyzed scientific literature by comparing the outcomes of CBT across various anxiety disorders with control groups and alternative treatments. The review emphasizes CBT's wide range of application, its consistent and strong impact on symptom relief, as well as its advantages over other treatment methods. The findings indicate that CBT is one of the most recommended psychological approaches in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
