On January 6, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, was a guest on Bakhtiyar Hasanov's program on the AnewZ channel on the topic "Ilham Aliyev hails 2025 as a historic year".

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev, drawing attention to the Abu Dhabi meetings held last year and the signing of the Washington Declaration, emphasized that 2025 is of special importance in the history of Azerbaijan's foreign policy. He also noted the economic and geopolitical importance of the cooperation established with China in the same year, as well as the expansion of cooperation with Turkic states, especially the importance of the transition of the C5 format to the C6 format with the participation of Azerbaijan.
