An educational seminar on the topic "Say No to Drug Addiction" was held on December 24, 2025, at Ilgar Abylhasanov Secondary School No. 42 in Baku's Nasimi district, organized by the Division for Organizing Preventive Work with Minors (DOPWM) of the Baku City Main Police Department.

At the event, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, delivered a presentation addressing the psychological and social problems that substance addiction creates for society. He emphasized the importance of early detection of this problem and discussed the significance of preventive measures and educational work. The psychologist also noted the role that family and educational environments play in preventing addiction, highlighting that promoting a healthy lifestyle is crucial for the development of young people.

The event was attended by Ibrahim Ismayilov, Head of DOPWM at the Baku City Main Police Department - Police Colonel; Asim Babakhanov, Chief Inspector - Police Major; Aysel Hajiyeva, Inspector - Police Senior Lieutenant; Yegana Zeynalova, Inspector of DOPWM at Nasimi District Police Department - Police Major; and Gunay Asgarova, narcologist physician at the Baku City Narcological Center.

The event was conducted in an interactive format with active participation of students and teaching staff, extensive exchange of opinions on the topic took place, and questions were answered.
