An II International Scientific Conference on the topic "Turkic World: Common Historical and Cultural Values, Contemporary Realities and Vision for the Future" was held on December 25-26, 2025, organized by the Faculty of History of Baku State University (BSU).

At the conference, faculty members of the History and Archaeology Department of Khazar University presented papers: Dr. Yagub Mammadov on "Resumption of Archaeological Research in Taghlar Cave: Pending Tasks and Preliminary Results," Dr. Nurlan Nasirov on "Information about Turkic Tribes Settled in Azerbaijan during the Mongol Rule Period in Medieval Narrative Sources," Dr. Sohrab Mustafayev on "Reflection of the November 8 Victory in Türkiye's Newspapers," Dr. Oder Alizade on "Poetic and Political Expression of the Turan Idea in the 'Azerbaijan' Newspaper (1918–1920)," and Orkhan Zamanov on "The Problem of Archaeological Study of the Material and Cultural Heritage of the 'Turkic Period.'"

The presentations were received with interest, and the questions posed were answered in detail. Publication of the conference materials is planned.
