The Head of the Department of Physics and Electronics at Khazar University, Associate Professor Faride Tatardar, participated in the "Symposium on Advanced Piezoelectric Devices" held at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, from December 8-18, 2025, upon the invitation of Professor Guodong Zhu from Fudan University's College of Smart Materials and Future Energy.
Within the framework of the symposium, Associate Professor Faride Tatardar delivered a presentation on "3D Printed Piezoelectric Sensors: Postdoctoral Research Activities in Spain." Initially, general information about Azerbaijan and Khazar University was provided, followed by a presentation of the postdoctoral research work conducted in Spain and the results obtained. Other researchers from Fudan University also made presentations at the symposium, providing information about the latest scientific research and development work in the field of piezoelectric-based sensors.
Following the symposium, participants became acquainted with the development path of Fudan University from its establishment to the present day at the university's History Museum. Within the framework of scientific research and development activities, visits were conducted to laboratories where research on the synthesis and analysis of piezoelectric sensors and transistor devices is carried out, as well as to Optics and Electronics laboratories, after which research related to the production stages of solar panels was examined in detail on site.
Professor Guodong Zhu expressed their interest in implementing joint scientific projects with Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and the parties discussed cooperation prospects for joint projects planned for 2026.
