A scientific seminar on "Rabies: Virus Transmission Dynamics, Genetic Characteristics and Control Strategies" was held on December 19, 2025, by veterinarian Chiček Aliyeva, Acting Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Khazar University.

Faculty members, researchers and students of the university participated in the seminar.

Chiček Aliyeva provided detailed information about the spread and prevention of the virus, particularly emphasizing the threats posed by rabies to animal and human health, as well as the importance of preventive measures. She presented examples from the results of her scientific research and also shared real-life experiences she encountered during her professional practice with the participants. This approach enabled a clearer delivery of the practical significance of the topic. The presented topic was received with interest by the participants and led to active discussions.
