An educational seminar on "Say No to Drug Addiction" was held on December 16, 2025, at Secondary School No. 138 located in Baku's Khatai district, organized by the Department for Organization of Preventive Work with Minors of the Baku City Main Police Department.

At the event, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, staff member of Khazar University's Department of Psychology and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, delivered a presentation providing information about the harms of substance addiction as well as its psychological aspects. He emphasized the negative effects of substance addiction on individuals' psychological well-being, social relationships, and future life prospects, bringing attention to modern approaches regarding the causes of addiction and treatment methods. At the same time, the risks posed by substance addiction to adolescents' emotional development and social adaptation were noted.

The event was attended by Colonel Ibrahim Ismayilov, Head of the Department for Organization of Preventive Work with Minors of the Baku City Main Police Department; Major Asim Babakhanov, Chief Inspector; Senior Lieutenant Aysel Hajiyeva, Inspector; Major Tural Shahbazov, Head of the Department for Organization of Preventive Work with Minors of the Khatai District Police Department; Captain Aygul Ulukhanlı, Inspector; and Dr. Gunay Asgarova, narcologist at the Baku City Narcological Center.

The event was conducted in an interactive format with active participation of students and teaching staff, extensive exchange of ideas on the topic took place, and questions were answered.
