On December 16, 2025, a seminar on "The Role of Digital Transformations in the Development of Modern Libraries" was organized at Baku Higher Oil School. The purpose of the seminar was to exchange experience on the implementation of digital transformations in the libraries of higher education institutions, management of scientific information, and modern library models.

At the event, directors of libraries from several higher education institutions made presentations and shared the experiences of the institutions they lead. Staff members from some universities in Türkiye and Azerbaijan also participated in the seminar in online format.

At the seminar, Aytac Misgarli, Director of the Library-Information Center at Khazar University, made a presentation on "Platforms Used for Managing Scientific Information," providing detailed information about the effective management of scientific information in the digital environment, open science initiatives, and the capabilities of modern platforms.

Proposals related to improving the work of higher education institution libraries were discussed at the seminar.
