The head of the department at the round table held on the theses voiced by President Ilham Aliyev

On December 18, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, participated in a round table discussion on the theses voiced by President Ilham Aliyev at ANAS, organized by the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center).

Members of the Milli Majlis, representatives of think tanks and universities participated in the round table discussions dedicated to the study of foreign policy and international relations, problems arising in the way of cooperation between foreign and local scientists and ways to solve them.

The round table discussed the existing institutional gaps in the field of scientific research, factors hindering cooperation with foreign scientific institutions and scientists, difficulties in applying innovative approaches, as well as practical and technical issues in the field.
