First-year students majoring in History Teaching at Khazar University's School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences visited the Azerbaijan National Art Museum on December 10, 2025, under the guidance of Dr. Yagub Mammadov, instructor at the Department of History and Archaeology.
The museum, one of the country's leading cultural institutions, preserves more than 18,000 exhibits related to various periods of Azerbaijani art, including painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative-applied arts, as well as art from Western Europe, Russia, and Eastern countries.
Museum guide Sevil Aliyeva provided students with detailed information about the building housing the museum, the museum's history of establishment, as well as examples of Azerbaijani and world art - ceramics, carpet weaving, artistic embroidery, jewelry, paintings, and other art specimens. Students' questions were answered.
It should be noted that familiarization with museums serves to strengthen students' theoretical knowledge, and such events are organized regularly.
