On December 3, 2025, a large-scale conference entitled "The Historical Depth of Azerbaijan-Türkiye Brotherhood" was organized at the Aksaray Science Center on the initiative of Türkiye's Birlik Foundation. Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu, Head of the History and Archaeology Department at Khazar University, delivered a presentation at the event.

The conference was attended by prominent scholars, intellectuals, and public representatives from the region. Within the framework of the event, the current relevance of the Turkic world and ways to elevate Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations from the level of strategic partnership to an even higher stage were discussed.

In his remarks, Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu highlighted the historical roots of Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood, the common cultural heritage, and the solidarity traditions that have been formed between the two countries over centuries. The department head also exchanged views with the event participants on opportunities for scientific and institutional cooperation toward strengthening the unity of the Turkic world.
