On December 4, 2025, an event titled "Say No to Drug Addiction and Early Marriage!" was held at Khazar University. The head of the Nizami District Police Department of Baku and numerous staff members of the department participated in the event. Prior to the event, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof.Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, received the head of the Nizami District Police Department, Police Colonel Ziya Aliyev, and police officers.

The event began with a moment of silence in memory of martyrs and the performance of the National Anthem.

The event moderator gave the floor to the head of the Nizami District Police Department, Police Colonel Ziya Aliyev. Z. Aliyev spoke about the fight against drug addiction in Nizami district and the republic as a whole. Subsequently, a staff member of the police department, Police Major Elvin Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Veterans Council Firdovsi Bayramov, Police Lieutenant Sura Yusifova, and others delivered speeches.

Questions from students were answered by staff members of the police department.

At the end, Director of Public Relations and Media Alavsad Amirbayli expressed gratitude on behalf of the university administration and students to the head and staff members of the police department.
