Staff Member of Psychology Department on BAKU TV Live Broadcast

On December 3, 2025, Mirsadiq Muxtarov, a staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, was a guest on BAKU TV's live broadcast. The main topic of the live broadcast was the psychological effects of haunted houses on youth and adolescents.

During his appearance, Mirsadiq Muxtarov emphasized that although haunted houses are presented in an entertainment format, it can sometimes be difficult for adolescents to distinguish between real fear and stimulated excitement. He noted that this type of intensive emotional loading can lead to acute fear reactions, sleep disorders, and even the formation of traumatic experiences in some children and youth. He stressed that the absence of parental accompaniment and information provision can cause the fear experience to intensify further.
