An educational meeting on "Cultural Heritage and Tourism" was organized on November 27, 2025, for first-year Tourism major students of the School of Economics and Management at Khazar University. Elchin Karimov, a specialist in Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism, participated in the event.

During the meeting, Elchin Karimov provided students with detailed information about local and international methods, practices applied in the field of cultural heritage preservation and utilization, as well as the essence of international conventions. Within the framework of the presentation, World Heritage sites, UNESCO selection criteria, protection principles, and the international management system were explained.

As concrete examples, the value and attributes of World Heritage sites were presented to students through the cases of Shaki city and Khinalig.

The meeting proved beneficial for students in terms of expanding their knowledge in the field of cultural heritage and tourism and learning through practical examples.
