On November 24, 2025, the city of Shusha, a symbol of our Glorious Victory, hosted the First Azerbaijan-Türkiye Think Tanks Forum. Organized jointly by the Azerbaijan CAIR and the Center for Strategic Research (SAM) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, the forum brought together representatives from 15 leading think tanks and academic institutions from the two fraternal countries.
Within the forum, major trends in the foreign policies of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, integration opportunities within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as well as the impact of transport-communication and energy partnership on bilateral relations were extensively discussed.
Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, participated in the forum as a presenter. In his presentation, Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu emphasized the importance of forming common historical-cultural narratives and addressed the necessity of preparing textbooks on common Turkic history and geography, culture, and literature with a unified conceptual framework for universities and secondary schools. The department head also proposed the establishment of an "Azerbaijan-Turkey Film Fund" to implement joint cinema projects that would highlight historical and strategic themes and spiritual ties between the two fraternal peoples, the publication of children's literature presenting Turkic mythology and mindset as a unified cultural foundation, the production of animated films, the creation of joint doctoral programs and research centers on artificial intelligence, and the development of joint national cryptography systems.
