The founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli participated in an international scientific conference held at the AzUAC on November 20, 2025, on the theme "Social-Cultural Integration Processes of Turkic States along the Modern Silk Road: Challenges and Prospects."
The event was jointly organized by AzUAC, the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, and the Ingla International Education Training Center.
At the opening, speeches were delivered by AzUAC Rector Prof. Gulchokhra Mammadova, Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS Prof. Ilham Mammadzade, Director General of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Z. Bunyadov Acad. Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, and Vice-Rector for Research Affairs of Kokand University Prof. Zebohan Kobilova.
The conference emphasized the role of the Modern Silk Road in strengthening social-cultural integration processes among Turkic states, expansion of regional cooperation, the transition of scientific and humanitarian relations to a new stage, and the strategic tasks ahead. Within the plenary session, scientific reports were presented on a number of current topics.
The conference continued its work in sectional sessions and concluded.
