The founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, delivered an extensive presentation on "Koroglu: A Hero Transcending Borders" at the opening panel of the "International Turkic Studies" conference held on November 13-14, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Department of Turkic Studies and Inner Asian Peoples of the University of Warsaw, along with the Center for Azerbaijani Studies, under the patronage of the embassies of the Republics of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, and with the support of the Karaim Heritage Foundation.

Isakhanli also conducted research at the Polish State Archives.
