On November 7, 2025, a presentation of the book "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot" by Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, was held at the Heydar Aliyev Educational Center at Caucasus University in Kars, Turkey. The event was organized on the initiative of the Department of Modern Turkic Dialects and Literatures of Caucasus University and the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Kars.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Prof. Dr. Ilkin Gulusoy, head of the Department of Modern Turkic Dialects and Literatures at Caucasus University, greeted the distinguished guest and participants, emphasizing that the event was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Karabakh Victory. Zamin Aliyev, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars, introduced Hamlet Isakhanli to the guests and briefly discussed the significance of the book. Subsequently, the speakers - Assoc. Dr. Naciba Nasibova, education counselor at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey, Prof. Hüsnü Kapu, Rector of Caucasus University, Prof. Ekrem Gürel, Rector of Iğdır University, and Prof. Dr. Selcuk Ural, Vice Rector of Caucasus University - spoke about the historical significance of the Karabakh Victory won by the Azerbaijani people and the importance of the work "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot" for present and future generations.
Könül Gulusoy, a faculty member at Caucasus University, delivered an extensive scholarly presentation discussing the importance of covering the Karabakh topic from scientific and literary perspectives, the literary-philosophical content of the work, the novelty of presenting Karabakh realities in this context, and its significance in preserving Azerbaijani national memory. The speaker emphasized that Hamlet Isakhanli's work is an important example that reflects not only the historical and political aspects of the Karabakh war, but also its moral and ideological dimensions from a profound scientific-literary perspective. The presentation was received with great interest by the author and participants and sparked extensive discussions.
At the event, students specializing in Azerbaijani language and literature from the Department of Modern Turkic Dialects and Literatures at Caucasus University recited poems by Hamlet Isakhanli. At the request of the event participants, Hamlet Isakhanli recited his own poem "We Are Still Moving Forward."
Assoc. Dr. Naciba Nasibova, education counselor at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey, presented an award to Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli for his services in further strengthening fraternal relations and scientific and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. In turn, Hamlet Isakhanli presented a gift to Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, Rector of Caucasus University, in appreciation of the attention shown.
