On October 30, 2025, first aid training was conducted at the university under the joint organization of Khazar University, the Association of Private Medical Institutions (APMI), and the Medic School Training Center, accredited by the American Heart Association. The training was attended by Dr. Jamala Eldarova, Head of the Life Sciences Department at Khazar University, Dr. Javid Ocagi, Associate Professor of the department, instructors Gulafat Shafiyeva and Nubar Manafova, and second-year students majoring in Chemistry and Biology.

The event was declared open by Gunel Aliyeva, Chairman of the APMI Board of Directors, and the training program was conducted by Dr. Joshgun Piriyev, instructor at the Medic School Training Center. Participants acquired knowledge and practical skills in cardiac arrest, choking, loss of consciousness, bleeding and burns, emergency response behavior, and initial intervention.

At the conclusion of the training, certificates were presented to the participants.
