At the next meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, a number of scholars with outstanding contributions to science were awarded.

Among the awardees was Hikmet Guliyev, a faculty member of the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University, Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and Associate Professor. Dr. Hikmet Guliyev was awarded the “ANAS Medal,” established on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of ANAS.
