On November 5, 2025, at Khazar University, the next master class was held at the Museum-Exhibition Hall of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, located in Icheri Sheher, for participants involved in the practice-oriented II scientific-practical experience and the first "Volunteer Program" associated with it.
After the program director, Head of the Scientific Exposition Department of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS and instructor at the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, Orkhan Zamanov, delivered the opening speech, Dr. Yagub Mammadov, leading researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS and instructor at the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, presented a scientific lecture on the topic "Study of the Stone Age and Achieved Results." The lecture provided a detailed explanation of archaeological finds from the Stone Age, their scientific analysis, and the place this period holds in Azerbaijan's history, and interesting discussions were held with participants. The event was of significant importance for young researchers and volunteers in terms of enhancing both theoretical and practical knowledge.
It should be noted that Dr. Yagub Mammadov has been actively involved in the research of Stone Age archaeological monuments on the territory of Azerbaijan for nearly 15 years and has led a
number of important studies conducted in recent years. His scientific activities have made significant contributions to achieving valuable results in this field and to a deeper study of our ancient history.
At the same time, it should be emphasized that students of Khazar University, one of the main partners of the project, also actively participated in this scientific initiative and enriched their archaeological knowledge through the master classes.
At the end of the event, questions of interest to project participants were answered and discussions were held.
