On November 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, gave an interview to the “TRT World” channel about Türkiye’s strategic role in the Turkic world. It should be noted that the interview was related to Assoc. Prof. Valiyev’s article titled “Discussing the ‘New Türkiye’ in the Context of Strengthening the State” published in the “Insight Turkey” magazine.

During the interview, Assoc. Prof. Valiyev, referring to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech at the opening ceremony of the TRT World Forum 2025, said that states can no longer confine themselves within their borders and that regional cooperation is inevitable. In this context, he emphasized his belief that the Organization of Turkic States will play a decisive role for the future of the Turkic world.
