On October 31, 2025, a meeting was held at Khazar University with a delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University. The meeting was attended by Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University Prof. Zhao Gang, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Asian Studies and African Studies and Dean of the School of Asian Studies Dr. Su Yingying, Head of the Azerbaijani Language Department of the School of Asian Studies and Founding Director of the Center for Chinese Studies at Khazar University Dr. Agshin Aliyev, Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, Rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva, vice rectors, faculty deans, and the Director of the International Relations Department.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted on strengthening inter-university cooperation, expanding student exchange opportunities, as well as further broadening activities related to Chinese language and culture. The parties emphasized the importance of implementing joint initiatives in these areas in the future.

At the end, gifts were presented and commemorative photographs were taken.
