The Library Information Center (LIC) at Khazar University's Neftchilar Campus organized information days lasting five days (October 20-24) within the framework of International Open Science Week. The purpose of the event was to promote the principles of open science among students and researchers, as well as to increase awareness about the information and scientific resources provided by the library.
Participants received detailed information about the library's information and scientific research resources, access opportunities to electronic databases, information search methods, as well as user support services. Through presentations conducted by library staff, students learned methods for effective use of the electronic catalog and international scientific databases.
During the events, students participated in sessions both individually and in groups, addressing their inquiries and questions to library staff. This process not only developed their skills in accessing scientific information but also strengthened their ability to utilize library resources more efficiently.
The information days, which were received with great interest by participants, once again demonstrated the importance of the library's educational activities. Students were informed that they can contact library staff at any time, either individually or in groups, and receive support regarding scientific research and information searches.
The Library Information Center of Khazar University plans to continue organizing educational events for students and researchers in the future.
