On October 15, 2025, first-year students studying in the History Teaching major at Khazar University's School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences participated in an excursion at the Museum Exhibition Hall of the ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology. The visit was organized under the guidance of Orkhan Zamanov, lecturer at the Department of History and Archaeology. The purpose of the excursion was for students to become closely acquainted with material culture specimens from ancient periods and to further expand their knowledge about Azerbaijan's archaeological heritage.
At the museum, students were provided with detailed information about pottery vessels, jugs, household items and various ancient period artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations conducted on the territory of Azerbaijan. Interesting facts were presented about the history of each exhibit and the period to which it belongs. Students toured various sections of the museum and attentively observed exhibits related to Azerbaijan's ancient settlements, statehood history and stages of cultural development. Explanations provided on ancient pottery specimens and jugs further increased their interest in archaeology.
