On October 1, 2025, an Orientation Day was organized for newly admitted international students at Khazar University in the Marble Hall.
The opening part of the day began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a speech from the university's rector, Dr. Raziya Isayeva.
Information sessions were held throughout the event, during which faculty representatives provided information about their respective faculties. Staff members from the International Relations Department – Jale Mammadova on the university's international services and general information, Ilgara Abdullayeva on important matters related to migration and residence permits, and Seyran Aliyeva on the Erasmus+ program – delivered detailed presentations. At the same time, student clubs and ESN Khazar also provided information about their activities and invited new students to join as members.
A tea break was then organized for the students, during which participants enjoyed tea, coffee, pastries, and fruit juices while getting acquainted with one another.
Following the break, games were held to increase familiarity among students. Within the framework of a networking session, students became closely acquainted with each other, members of student clubs, and staff of the International Relations Department.
In the final part of the event, music from various nations was played, and students danced and had an enjoyable time.
At the end of Orientation Day, all participants were presented with Khazar University gift packages, and they were wished successful studies and memorable student years.
