On October 3, 2025, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, visited the Ankara University Center for Applied and Research in Earth Sciences (CARES). The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between universities in the field of Earth sciences.

During the visit, Hamlet Isakhanli held discussions with CARES leadership and scientific staff on joint research in geology, geochemistry, and geophysics. The meeting was attended on behalf of Ankara University by Vice-Rector, Dean of the School of Engineering, and Professor of the Department of Geological Engineering, Dr. Yusuf Kağan Kadıoğlu. He emphasized the strategic importance of collaboration in Earth sciences and highlighted the feasibility of implementing mutual scientific projects.

Also present at the meeting were Çiçək Əliyeva, acting Dean of Khazar University Hasvet School of Veterinary Medicine, and staff members of Hasvet Medical Joint Stock Company.

This visit represented an important step toward promoting modern multidisciplinary research.
