On September 30, 2025, a meeting was held at the Mevlana Literary and Philosophical Research Center (MLPRC) with Shamsettin Kuzeçi, a writer-journalist and one of the founders of relations between Iraqi Turkmens and Azerbaijan in various fields – education, literature, politics, and public affairs.

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Khatira Yusifova, Professor Minakhanim Taklali, and Professor Khuraman Hummatova from the Institute's Advisory Council, Dr. Ziver Huseynli Baylan, lecturer at the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University, and Gunel Hasanova, lecturer at Baku Slavic University. An exchange of views was held regarding Shamsettin Kuzeçi's personal creative work and Iraqi Turkmen literature in general. The Turkmen scholar donated his works titled "Makalelerim" (My Articles), "Kərkükün milli tədqiqatçısı Əta Tərzibaşı" (Ata Terzibashi, National Researcher of Kirkuk), and "Lugat-ı Türkiyye" to the institute's library.

In accordance with MLPRC's research directions, a joint research topic was identified and approved, and at the end of the meeting, a commemorative photograph was taken.
