On September 28, 2025, Professor Ali Kumayl Ghazalbash from the Faculty of Persian Language and Literature at Islamabad University of Pakistan was a guest at the Mevlana Literary-Philosophical Research Center (MLPRC), which operates under Khazar University. Ali Kumayl has previously participated as a speaker at conferences organized by Khazar University.

The professor was welcomed by Dr. Farida Seyidova, a research fellow at the institute, and Associate Professor Asmatkhanum Mammadova, a member of the institute's Advisory Board, and discussions were held regarding joint cooperation.

The Pakistani professor spoke about his research related to Muhammad Iqbal, a thinker who played an important role in the development of world mystical thought, the "ideological father of Pakistan," a poet and public figure who became famous in the West for his Sufi views, and expressed interest in the current research of the Mawlana Institute. At the end, a commemorative photo was taken with the professor, and he was presented with gifts from the institute's publications.
