Between July 23 and August 6, 2025, Nargiz Ismayilli, a fifth-year student majoring in "Chemistry and Biology Teaching" at the Department of Life Sciences, School of Science and Engineering, participated in the "Frontiers in Life Science" international summer school organized by Westlake University in China.
Within the framework of the two-week program, our student attended scientific seminars and lectures conducted by professors from Stanford, San Diego, Alberta, Yale and other prestigious universities around the world, and participated in scientific experiments conducted at the "Neuroscience and Neuroengineering" laboratory. Nargiz also acquired practical skills in protein design, bioinformatics, cytogenetics and biochemistry, and visited the History and Culture Museum as well as the Silk Museum in Hangzhou city.
