The next meeting of Khazar University Scientific Council was held on September 2, 2025.

The meeting was opened by the founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof.Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, who brought the agenda item to the attention of the council members.

Faculty deans and the head of the International Relations Department provided detailed information regarding the admission of local and foreign students for the 2025-2026 academic year, which was the subject of the Scientific Council. New specialties and specializations opened for each faculty, approved quotas for the current academic year and actual admission statistics, as well as academic workload and number of groups by departments were brought to attention. The presented information was discussed by Scientific Council members and certain proposals were put forward.

Subsequently, Prof.Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli provided information regarding a very important appointment for the university. He noted that Raziya Isayeva, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, is appointed to the position of Rector of Khazar University as of the current date, based on the decision of the Board of Directors and Trustees.

In conclusion, Prof.Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli summarized the work of the meeting and wished the collective success in the new academic year.
