Head of Department on AnewZ Channel

On September 4, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, was a guest of Nadia Jani on the AnewZ channel on the topic “Azerbaijan-Russia relations: challenges and outlook”. Assoc. Prof. Valiyev explained that although the tension between the two countries has historical roots, the situation has become even more tense after the plane crash. He emphasized that, Putin's recent speech, especially after the dissolution of the Minsk Group, could have a positive impact on relations.
