On July 4, 2025, a scientific seminar dedicated to the topic "Problems of studying the ancient Stone Age in Azerbaijan - achieved results and tasks ahead" was held at the Ganja branch of Baku State University.
At the seminar, Dr. Yagub Mammadov, leading research fellow at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS and faculty member of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, delivered a presentation on "Results of scientific research conducted on the Stone Age in recent years in Karabakh and the western region."
During the seminar, Musa Mursaguliyev, director of the "Keshikchidag" State Historical-Cultural Reserve, spoke about the research of newly discovered monuments in the reserve territory, and Saadat Aliyeva, director of the "Avey" State Historical-Cultural Reserve, discussed international research conducted in Damjili Cave.
At the end, questions of interest to students and faculty members were answered.
