On July 7, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, was a guest on Baku TV's internet television project "West Azerbaijan Chronicles." Assoc. Prof. Valiyev emphasized that the return to these lands is essential for peace and stability in the region while discussing the history of his native village Toxluja and the deportations suffered by Azerbaijanis in West Azerbaijan.
