On April 17, 2025, an information and awareness session on the 3rd “Maarifchi” Student-Graduate Internship Program, initiated by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Education Development Fund, was held at Khazar University. The event was organized by the Career and Alumni Center of the university and brought together fourth-year bachelor’s and first- and second-year master’s students, as well as alumni.

The aim of the “Maarifchi” internship program is to contribute to the development of human resources in the fields of science and education, enhance the sector-specific knowledge and skills of students and graduates through practical experience, introduce them to modern approaches in education, and support the implementation of educational reforms.

As part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to intern at the central office of the Ministry of Science and Education, its subordinate institutions, and regional education departments. The internship program will also allow students and graduates to take part in projects and programs implemented by the Ministry’s structural units, participate in trainings on various topics, and benefit from mentorship under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The event was opened by Zarifa Aliyeva, Director of the Career and Alumni Center at Khazar University, who spoke about the role of the program in the professional development of students and graduates. She emphasized the importance of such initiatives in helping young people become familiar with real work environments and in guiding their career planning.

Z. Aliyeva provided detailed information to students and alumni about the scope of the 3rd “Maarifchi” program, application procedures, participation requirements, and the opportunities offered during the internship period.
